Registered Nurse Operating Room

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Registered Nurse to support our Operating Room team. The RN will provide comprehensive perioperative care across all service lines, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout their surgical experience.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Coordinate and deliver preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care for surgical patients.
  
  
• 
  Assess patient conditions, review medical histories, and develop individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Assist surgeons and anesthesia teams during procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any intraoperative changes.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and post-op care instructions.
  
  
• 
  Document all nursing activities and patient responses accurately in compliance with clinical standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Current valid RN license with state licensing requirements.
  
  
• 
  Proven experience in a surgical or perioperative setting preferred.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.
  
  
• 
  Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient communication skills.
  
  
• 
  Certification in BLS and ACLS required; additional OR-specific certifications are a plus.
  
  
• 
  Ability to perform all service lines within the surgical environment.
