Role Description The Territory Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cincinnati, OH, responsible for driving sales growth and strengthening relationships with HVAC, plumbing, and hydronic professionals in an assigned territory. Day-to-day activities include visiting customers, presenting product solutions, and providing technical guidance on inventory such as valves, pumps, boilers, and repair parts. The Territory Manager will identify new business opportunities, follow up on leads, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure product availability and timely order fulfillment. The role includes conducting product trainings, supporting educational events, and promoting Winstel Controls’ resources and services. The Territory Manager will maintain accurate records of customer interactions, prepare sales reports, and consistently represent the company’s commitment to expert support and reliable service. Qualifications Strong sales and account management skills, including territory planning, customer relationship building, and opportunity identification. Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and hydronic systems, with the ability to understand and explain technical product information. Effective communication and presentation skills, with experience delivering product demonstrations or trainings to professional audiences. Solid organizational and time management abilities, including maintaining visit schedules, updating CRM or sales tools, and preparing reports. Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM software) and comfort using online resources and product catalogs. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory. Experience in wholesale distribution, technical sales, or a related industry is preferred.
