Project Operations Specialist

VRSI (Variation Reduction Solutions, Inc.) is seeking candidates for a full-time Project Operations Specialist position for permanent employment. We are a growing company in need of a professional individual with a willingness to learn. Reporting To: Project Operations Manager Purpose of the Role: The Project Operations Specialist is responsible for maintaining BOMs, supporting internal and external documentation needs, and assisting in internal system buy-offs. This role also involves operating and maintaining 3D printing equipment, ensuring adherence to established practices, and supporting senior team members in process development. This role requires working closely with the Project Manager to provide documentation by set deadlines and occasionally interfacing with customers to meet their requirements and deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Project Support and Documentation: Utilize and maintain proficiency in the ERP system, Jobscope, to manage project data and documentation efficiently. Maintain and update BOMs for assigned projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements. Prepare and organize internal and external documentation, meeting all deadlines. Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure all required documentation is delivered on time. Participate in internal system buy-offs, reporting discrepancies to senior team members. Develop and utilize SpinFire skills for creating BOMs. Be the liaison between the Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing Departments for all project related tasks and communicate with the PM about any roadblocks. 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing: Operate and maintain 3D printing equipment. Follow best practices for additive manufacturing processes. Ensure all 3D printed items meet quality standards. Process Support: Support the Senior Engineer in refining and implementing new workflows. Contribute to troubleshooting and provide recommendations for improvement. Coordinate between Manufacturing and Project Management Objectives and Goals: Ensure accurate and up-to-date project documentation and BOMs. Maintain reliable and efficient 3D printing operations. Support team members in achieving project milestones and deadlines. Contribute to process improvement initiatives. Physical Requirements: Lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds. Stand and walk on concrete floors for up to 8 hours per shift. Bend, stoop, twist, and reach above shoulder level regularly. Push and pull heavy rolling carts or pallet jacks. Use hands for fine manipulation, grasping, and typing. See and read small part numbers and computer labels clearly.
