People like you!Location: IKO Glass Fiber Inc., Chester, SC Department: Maintenance Type: Full TimeBenefitsHealth Insurance (includes teledoc, virtual health, FSA, HCSA & other benefits)Dental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsuranceHealth Spending AccountEmployee Support and Mental WellnessShort term disability401k MatchPaid vacationFloating daysEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee Engagement EventsAwards and RecognitionTuition ReimbursementService AwardsEmployee Perks & DiscountsJob ResponsibilitiesMaintain exceptional attendance and reliability by reporting to work on time and as scheduled.Promote IKO safety goals and maintain a safe work environment through effective safety, housekeeping, and corrective action practices.Develop detailed mechanical designs, BOMs, engineering drawings, product specifications, and manufacturing requirements.Use CAD software to create 3D models, prototypes, and perform form, fit, and function analysis.Analyze and evaluate designs for functionality, structural integrity, safety, industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.Collaborate with production, electrical engineering, HSE, and project teams to integrate mechanical and electrical systems and drive continuous improvement.Develop innovative engineering solutions to address equipment, process, and operational challenges.Develop maintenance schedules and procedures while supporting preventive and predictive maintenance programs.Provide mechanical maintenance support through troubleshooting, equipment repairs, training, and resolution of breakdowns.Maintain accurate engineering documentation and reports and communicate technical information effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Job RequirementsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation), with the ability to effectively work with others in a team environment.Demonstrated initiative and the ability to handle complex assignments with a proactive attitude.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Experience in utilizing statistics to solve problems and monitor processes.Ability to develop and manage a budgetary control process for areas of responsibility.Analytical, data-driven problem solving and action planning skills.Ability to make independent and well thought out decisions.Organized, self-starter, results oriented, unique problem solver.Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and safety protocolsProficiency in CAD software, 3D modeling, engineering analysis tools, and simulation software.Work Authorizations and TravelSome travelI9 verification requiredBenefits of Employment: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
