Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description Job Summary: Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Burn Trauma Intensive Care Unit, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through expert clinical skills and critical thinking. This role requires a compassionate and team-oriented RN to manage complex casesin a fast-paced ICU environment. Responsibilities: Administer advanced critical care interventions including wound management, code responses, EVDs, and MTP procedures. Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond promptly to any changes in status. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in the electronic medical record (Meditech). Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and critical care standards, including weekend and on-call commitments. Support team members by offering assistance and maintaining clear communication. Qualifications: Hold an active RN license with at least 1 year of ICU experience. Demonstrate excellent communication and critical thinking skills. Possess trauma, burn, and surgical ICU experience; BSN preferred. Certification requirements include RN licensure and relevant ICU certifications such as CCRN. Able to work effectively in high-pressure situations and collaborate within a team environment.
