Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Silver Spring, Maryland. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Labor and Delivery Nurse in Silver Spring, Maryland. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. The role requires collaboration with a healthcare team to ensure positive patient outcomes while adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards. Job Details Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent, with current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). No minimum years of experience required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in labor and delivery units, certification in Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM). Float: Float rotation may be required. Additional Information: The role involves direct patient care in a labor and delivery unit, including monitoring fetal and maternal status, assisting with deliveries, and providing postpartum support. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment, following established SOPs and clinical protocols.
