What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report policy violations, maintenance issues, or suspicious behavior observed during patrol activities.
• Support day-to-day operations by following post orders, communicating clearly with staff and supervisors, and completing required reports related to incidents, patrols, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
