General Dentist Opportunity

Blue Jay Dental has a client with a need for a general dentist to start immediately in Monaca, PA. An outstanding position is available in a highly respected group practice. The dentist will work in a large multi-operatory practice with state-of-the-art equipment. The age range of patients is adults. The practice accepts PPO and FFS.

The compensation is excellent, starting pay to help establish a new dentist. Responsibilities include providing diagnosis of patient's dental status utilizing accepted clinical and radiological techniques, assessing patient's dental status and arranging for appropriate consultations to determine treatment needed, providing comprehensive professional dental treatment to address the oral health needs of patients, providing routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, and fluoride treatments, referring to dental specialists when appropriate, managing administrative functions of the dental office, and supervising the work of dental hygienists and dental assistants.

Requirements include a DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school, a PA license and DEA, willingness to live and be part of the community of Monaca, PA, competence in all facets of general dentistry, and a strong focus on clinical excellence.
