Floorco Flooring is growing , and we’re looking for a friendly, motivated Sales Representative to join our family‐owned flooring showroom. If you enjoy working with customers, love design and home improvement, and want to be part of a tight‐knit local business—not a big box store—this role is for you. For over 30 years , Floorco Flooring has proudly served the Dayton area with expert guidance, premium products, and a personal touch you won’t find anywhere else. We’re not just selling floors—we’re helping families create spaces they’ll love for years to come.
What You’ll Do
As a Sales Representative, you’ll be the face of Floorco Flooring and a trusted guide for our customers:
- Welcome customers into our 7,000 sq. ft. showroom and help them explore flooring options such as hardwood, LVP, carpet, tile, and laminate
- Consult with homeowners and business clients to understand their style, budget, and project needs
- Educate customers on product features, durability, maintenance, and design
- Coordinate measurements, quotes, samples, and follow‐up appointments
- Work closely with our in‐house installation team to ensure a smooth customer experience
- Build lasting relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals
- Maintain showroom appearance and assist with merchandising displays
What We’re Looking For
- Sales or customer service experience (flooring, home improvement, or design experience is a plus—but not required )
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help customers
- Experience working with computers and tracking systems
- Confidence working one‐on‐one with homeowners making important purchasing decisions
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable following up with customers
- A team‐first attitude—this is a family business , and everyone pitches in
