Responsibilities

• Lead an Infant, Toddler, Preschool, or VPK classroom
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
• Implement The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• Develop and execute age-appropriate lesson plans
• Track and document children's developmental progress
• Build strong relationships with families through daily communication
• Ensure compliance with all DCF licensing standards and health and safety requirements
• Mentor Assistant Teachers and support a collaborative classroom environment
• Foster children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a licensed childcare center, preschool, daycare, or early learning program
• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of DCF 45-Hour Child Care Training (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to meet all Florida licensing requirements
• Strong classroom management and communication skills

Preferred:

• Active CDA Credential
• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Experience as a Lead Teacher, Preschool Teacher, Childcare Teacher, VPK Teacher, Infant Teacher, or Toddler Teacher
