Key Qualifications:

• Active California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist credential required (screenshot of CTC in present must be provided)
• Demonstrated experience working as a Special Education Teacher, preferably at the high school level
• Deep working knowledge of IEP development, compliance, and implementation
• Ability to collaborate with general educators, related services, and families to meet students' academic and behavioral goals
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students in a high school RSP (Resource Specialist Program) setting
• Develop, adapt, and deliver individualized lesson plans aligned with students’ IEP objectives
• Monitor student progress and maintain thorough records to ensure ongoing compliance and educational growth
• Support transition planning and promote skills for student independence
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to meetings and sharing strategies for effective interventions
