Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients using established standards of care and the nursing process
- Assess patient status, implement care plans, and monitor progress throughout the perioperative period
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses, ensuring safety and accuracy
- Support and supervise a range of nursing staff levels, directing activities as needed during the shift
- Coordinate care with surgical team members and other disciplines to ensure seamless perioperative flow
- Maintain sterile technique, infection control practices, and patient safety standards
- Document care and communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team

Requirements
- Active RN license required (state of practice corresponding to assignment location)
- OR nursing experience preferred (approximately 1 year)
- BLS certification (required or maintained for perioperative care)
- Ability to work days, 8-hour shifts (40 hours per week) in a perioperative setting
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and adapt to new care environments
