Position Summary

The Regional Account Services Manager – Subcontractor Operations is responsible for the execution of contracted services and management of client relationships for accounts serviced by subcontractors. This role ensures that all subcontracted work is delivered in accordance with the agreed scope, company-defined standards, and client expectations.

The Regional Account Services Manager works directly with subcontractors to oversee performance, enforce quality assurance standards, and drive consistency across all accounts. This position plays a critical role in maintaining strong client relationships, reinforcing value perception, and supporting long-term account retention.

In addition, the Regional Account Services Manager is responsible for the overall oversight and continuous improvement of the company’s subcontractor program, including subcontractor sourcing, onboarding, standards enforcement, compliance, and relationship management.

Reporting Relationships

Reports to: Vice President, Operations

Works closely with Project Managers, Operations Coordinator, Sales Team, Human Resources, and Office Manager

Authorities and Scope of Responsibility

The Regional Account Services Manager has full operational oversight of subcontracted accounts and related processes, including service delivery execution, quality assurance inspections, client relationship management, and subcontractor compliance with company policies and standards.

This includes subcontractor invoice receipt, review, and approval, as well as subcontractor pricing review and evaluation of increase requests when applicable. The Regional Account Services Manager also evaluates subcontractor performance and participates in pricing and contract discussions.

Duties and Responsibilities

Subcontractor Management & Oversight

Serve as the primary point of contact for subcontractors across assigned accounts. Ensure subcontractors fully understand and execute the scope of work and cleaning standards. Actively transition subcontractors toward defined service standards where gaps exist. Monitor performance, address issues, and enforce accountability. Coordinate onboarding and training of subcontractors on company expectations.

Quality Assurance & Standards Enforcement

Conduct site inspections to verify service quality and compliance with scope. Ensure subcontractors meet cleaning standards. Identify deficiencies and implement corrective plans. Maintain QA processes, track results, and ensure timely resolution of all issues.

Client Relationship Management

Act as the primary relationship owner for clients. Conduct regular visits, maintain communication, and ensure service satisfaction. Address concerns promptly and reinforce value perception to support long-term retention.

Subcontractor Program Oversight & Development

Provide overall management and oversight of the company’s subcontractor program, including subcontractor documentation, agreements, standards, processes, training, and compliance. Lead efforts to standardize subcontractor agreements and align all subcontractors with standards and expectations.

Subcontractor Sourcing & Onboarding

Identify, recruit, and onboard new subcontractors as needed. Conduct due diligence including insurance verification and capability assessment. Ensure proper onboarding into company standards and processes.

Pricing, Contracts & Financial Oversight

Participate in subcontractor pricing negotiations. Review pricing and evaluate increase requests based on scope, performance, and market factors. Assist in structuring agreements aligned with company standards and monitor financial performance.

Relationships

Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams.

Achieve consistent quality standards, ensure subcontractor alignment with standards, maintain client satisfaction, ensure subcontractor reliability, resolve issues promptly, and support financial performance goals.

Educational, Experiential and Skill Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in janitorial operations or subcontractor management. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational systems.

Salary range: 60,000 - 75,000 plus commission
