Job Title : Accounting Clerk Department: Accounting Supervision Exercised: None Supervision Received: Director of Finance MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or coursework in Accounting or Business preferred. Experience Minimum 1 year of accounting, bookkeeping, or office administrative experience. Experience with accounts payable and receivable preferred. Hospitality industry experience a plus. Skills & Knowledge Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with accounting systems such as Aptech PVNG or similar preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Job Duties & Responsibilities Process invoices, check requests, and expense reports in a timely manner. Verify accuracy of invoice coding, approvals, and supporting documentation. Prepare and reconcile daily deposits and cash transactions. Maintain organized filing systems for invoices, receipts, and reports. Assist with monthly account reconciliations and journal entry preparation. Track vendor payments and assist with resolving discrepancies. Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance team. Communicate with internal departments and external vendors as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
