Job Description:

As a Dishwasher , you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. You will play a critical role in supporting both the kitchen and front-of-house teams by ensuring all tools and service items are cleaned, organized, and ready for use.

Responsibilities:

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area and kitchen
• Ensure all items are properly dried, stored, and ready for service
• Assist with cleaning floors, taking out trash, and maintaining overall sanitation standards
• Support kitchen staff with basic prep or cleaning tasks as needed
• Restock clean dishes and supplies to appropriate stations
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and breakdown of the dish area

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (dish racks, trash, etc.)
• Attention to cleanliness and organization
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
• Professional demeanor and willingness to learn
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
