In this role, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to evaluate warfighting capabilities, bridge critical joint capability gaps, and accelerate the transition of innovative technologies to programs of record.Primary Responsibilities: Provide subject-matter expertise in warfighting technologies and capabilities for Mission Engineering Integration Activities (MEIA)Deliver technical assessments and analysis to provide recommended innovative approaches, technologies, and capabilities to address critical joint warfighting capability gapsProvide technical analysis and advice to inform capability requirements development and validation in the Technology Modernization Transition Review process (TMTR)Provide technical expertise to inform mission engineering studies, prototype development, experimentation, and global integrated wargamingCollaborate with Service, Joint Staff, and OSD stakeholders to support the transition of technologies from prototypes and joint experimentation activities to Service programs of recordPrepare and deliver reports and briefings to Senior DoD leadershipQualificationsRequired:Master’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical engineering or physicsActive TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAP) experienceMinimum 15 years of relevant work experienceSolid working knowledge of current and future airborne and space ISR systems to include the classified, proliferated low earth orbit (PLEO) constellationsSpecial Access Program (SAP) space portfolio experience Technical expertise in command, control, communications, computers, cyber, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and targeting (C5ISRT) in one or more of the following areas:Space and satellite ground station operationsBattle Management Command, Control and Communications (BMC3)Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC)Artificial Intelligence (AI)Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT)Experience leading the planning and execution of complex engineering and systems analysis efforts for the DoW and/or ICOperational experience in one or more areas of C5ISRTSolid working knowledge of current and future airborne and space ISR systems to include the classified, proliferated low earth orbit (PLEO) constellationsSpecial Access Program (SAP) space portfolio experienceExecutive presence with highly effective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to develop high-quality, professional briefings and written reports to succinctly capture key issues for DoW decision-makersSelf-starter, able to take initiative and accomplish work independently with minimal guidanceMust be highly organized with acute attention to detailDesired:Experience working with the Joint Staff in the military requirements processOSD, Joint Staff, and/or Service Staff experience is highly desiredScheduled Weekly Hours: 40hrsBasic Compensation:$200,000 - $205,000The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.Additional Compensation:KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
