Registered Nurse - Special Procedures (Nursing)
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Special Procedures team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing care in a radiology setting, primarily focusing on administering IV sedation to patients. The candidate must have recent experience in a relevant specialty, such as ICU, ER, or PACU.
This position is full-time, with shifts scheduled from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Provide IV sedation and monitor patients during special procedures.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
Perform assessments and adjust care plans as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a relevant nursing specialty.
Must hold current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Previous experience in radiology nursing is preferred, but candidates with ICU, ER, or PACU training will also be considered.
The Registered Nurse will be expected to work 2 major holidays from the following: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, as well as 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
This position is available in the region of Northside.
