Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a level III trauma hospital, requiring 2+ years acute care MRI experience and current ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification.

Details

226-bed non-profit community hospital with level III trauma designation and a single MRI room

MRI department serving inpatient, outpatient, and ER patients including stroke cases, mostly adults with rare sedated pediatric cases

8-hour mid shift, Monday through Friday, 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM

Weekend rotation dependent on shift and schedule

On-call requirement of 1-2 weekday shifts from 2300-0700 and one weekend shift per month (Friday night through Monday morning, 2300-0900) with 30-minute response time

May float to the outpatient imaging center approximately 5 minutes away

Uses Epic EMR and Philips View PACS system

Equipment includes Siemens Espree and Skyra, with Symphony experience preferred

Performs general MRI scans including brain, spine, MRCP, extremities, and occasional OB and stroke imaging

Requirements

Minimum 2 years acute care MRI experience required

Current BLS certification required

WA state license required if applicable

ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required

Comfortable working independently as the sole MRI Tech on shift

Experience starting IVs preferred

Additional Information

Must be comfortable working alone as could be the only MRI Tech on duty

First-time travelers considered only with 5+ years of experience

Scrub color must be any solid, professional color without graphics or logos
