Material Handler - 12-Hour Nights

Job Full Description

Express is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join a leading medical injection molding company in Baldwin, WI. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth, organized flow of materials within a clean-room environment , ensuring production schedules are met with precision and quality.

Shift Information:

2,2,3 Schedule - 7:00pm to 7:30am

Core Responsibilities

As a Material Handler, you will be the key resource managing the entire material lifecycle. Your main duties will include:

Material Readiness: Print and follow production schedules to stage, prepare, and route all resins and consumable components to the production floor.
Inventory Control: Maintain, control, and ensure lot traceability for all raw materials (resins), WIP, and finished goods in the warehouse.
Resin Management: Monitor and maintain resin supply levels in dryers and material handling devices; ensure proper drying times and temperatures are followed precisely.
Production Support: Utilize the MRP system, conduct accurate part counting via scale, manage material regrind operations (preventing contamination), and provide break coverage for operators on all production jobs.
Quality & Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of all material handling equipment. Notify the MRB team of any non-conforming resin and manage quarantine procedures.
Cross-Functional Support: Provide backup support for the shipping department as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma or GED required .
Proven ability to lift and handle up to 50lbs .
Forklift operation experience (certification is a major plus).
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
Solid computer skills required; experience with IQMRP or similar MRP systems is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of engineering resins and strong math skills are highly desired.
