Must adhere to all standards of the Physical Therapy Practice Act. Expected to assess, plan, evaluate and implement care for assigned patients, collaborating with other care providers. Responsibilities Gather pertinent data from charts and other caregivers; discuss with physicians as necessary. Independently assess all patient types assigned. Recognize additional needs during evaluation; exercise good judgment when requesting, scheduling, or performing additional testing. Interpret results and formulate measurable, realistic, and attainable goals. Reassess patient progress regularly per department and regulatory policy, or when needed. Identify appropriate equipment, discuss with patient and family, and make recommendations. Requirements Doctorate preferred. Bachelor's degree required.
