Job Summary Sea Dog Brew Pub is seeking a skilled and passionate Year round Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining settings, and will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the highest levels of food safety and quality. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Assist in menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Participate in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety practices. Skills Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or fine dining environment. Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety practices. Proficient knife skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff. Creative mindset for menu planning and developing new dishes. Attention to detail to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.
