Our Industrial Security team in Arlington, VA, is presently seeking an Industrial Security Specialist to join the team.

Job Summary:

This is a multi-faceted Industrial Security Specialist position working within a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

The candidate will help develop, administer, and maintain a comprehensive security program in accordance with the 32 CFR Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual Rule.

What You Will Do:

• Maintain classified document control/accountability of classified media shipped and received.

• Visitor Access Control, Personnel Security, and Security Education

• Perform various employee in-processing/out-processing security briefings/debriefings.

• Update security personnel access lists and databases accordingly.

• Prepare and participate in semi-annual and yearly audits and inspections.

• Assist with the implementation of local Standard Operating procedures (SOP), and Operations Security (OPSEC) Plans.

• Participate in a team environment to develop, update, and implement security policies and procedures in coordination with the company policies and government regulations.

• Conduct administrative inquiries related to possible security incidents and document results.

• You must hold a current Secret Clearance and be able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Requires a bachelor’s degree OR in absence of a degree, four (4) years of prior relevant experience.

• Experience or knowledge of 32 CFR 117, DoD 5220.22-M (NISPOM) and ISLs.

• Experience with processing classified shipments and accountability of classified assets.

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• Ability to communicate well with others both verbally and in writing.

• Experience in conducting Security Investigations/Administrative Inquiries and interviewing employees for security infractions/violations.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 75,800 USD - 144,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
