Use salon software such as Vagaro Pro for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking. Assist clients with product recommendations and retail sales to support their hair care routines. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and deliver personalized consultations. Manage front desk duties including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling payments. Mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive team environment through knowledge sharing. Stay updated on current trends in hair styling, coloring techniques, and beauty treatments to provide innovative services. Skills Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of hairstyling and cosmetology services. Proficiency with salon software such as Vagaro Pro for appointments and retail management. Skilled in various hair care techniques including coloring, cutting, styling, and applying hair extensions. Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Expertise in barbering techniques such as straight razor shaves when applicable. Ability to communicate clearly with clients about service options and aftercare instructions. Strong retail sales skills with the ability to upsell products like hair care items, nail care products, and accessories. Familiarity with color theory for customized hair coloring solutions. Experience with advanced treatments. Excellent customer service skills that foster client loyalty and satisfaction. Store management experience is a plus for overseeing daily operations when needed.
