Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) Scientist

Agilent seeks a senior Manufacturing Science & Technology Expert Scientist/Engineer to provide strategic technical leadership for chromatography particle and column manufacturing. The role involves guiding next-generation particle technologies from laboratory development through commercialization while driving process innovation and solving complex manufacturing challenges.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert for chromatography particle technologies and technical strategy
• Lead scale-up, technology transfer, and commercialization of new particle and stationary phase platforms
• Drive process optimization and resolution of complex technical challenges in particle synthesis and surface chemistry
• Partner across R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Product Management to establish standards and mentor scientists

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline
• 8+ years relevant experience in particle manufacturing, materials science, or chromatography technologies
• Deep expertise in silica particle synthesis, surface chemistry, or porous material design
• Proven experience scaling technologies from R&D through commercial manufacturing
• Strong understanding of relationships between material properties, processes, and chromatographic performance
• Demonstrated leadership in New Product Introduction programs for novel separation media

Compensation: $124,160–$194,000/yr plus bonus, stock, and benefits
