Position Details

• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Facility: Middle Park Medical Center (MPH)
• Location: Fraser, Colorado
• Setting: Critical Access Hospital (CAH), Level IV Trauma Center
• Guaranteed Hours: 32 Hours per Week

Schedule

• Shift: Nights
• Hours: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• On-Call: 2 call shifts every 6 weeks
• May be required to provide coverage at Granby or Kremmling locations

Required Experience

• Emergency Department RN experience
• Experience managing emergency and trauma patients
• Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience preferred
• Ability to work independently in a rural emergency setting
• Experience with patient care from admission through discharge

Required Certifications

• Active Colorado RN License or Compact RN License
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Preferred Certifications

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse)
• Knowledge of ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) protocols

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate emergency patient care
• Provide nursing care from admission through discharge
• Manage trauma, medical, and emergency cases
• Utilize ACLS and PALS protocols during patient care
• Implement clinical pathways and evidence-based practices
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Ensure achievement of patient care outcomes and safety standards
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
