Inpatient Rehabilitation Nursing Position

Location: Kansas City, MO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7A - 7P, three 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced nurse to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. The unit consists of two 15-bed units, providing care to patients in need of rehabilitation. The ideal candidate will have a background in med/surg nursing, with additional experience in rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to up to 30 patients in the rehabilitation unit.
Monitor vital signs and assess patient needs.
Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to implement care plans.
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 1 year of med/surg nursing experience required; rehabilitation experience is a plus.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Nursing license valid in the state of Missouri.
