front desk and sales associate

Bunge Fitness is looking for an energetic, people-first Front Desk & Sales Associate to be the face of the studio. You'll open the space before class, help every student feel taken care of during check-in and harness fit, and use the class window to reconnect with past clients and grow our membership base — think Orange Theory's front-desk sales model, bungee-style. This is a part-time, hourly role with commission earning potential. BEFORE CLASS: STUDIO SETUP Arrive one hour before the scheduled class to open and prepare the studio. Roll out and set up the front desk/check-in station (the studio has one large open room, not a separate lobby, so this station is built fresh each session). Turn on music, lighting, and air conditioning, and confirm the space is clean and class-ready. Set out harnesses, bungee cords, and any equipment needed for the upcoming class. CLASS TIME: CHECK-IN & HARNESS FITTING Greet students as they arrive and check them in alongside the instructor. Fit each student into their harness and the appropriate bungee cord for their height/weight. Help keep check-in moving so class starts on time. DURING CLASS: SALES & OUTREACH Once the instructor begins teaching, the Associate moves to the front desk station to focus on sales and outreach for the remainder of the class period. Call past clients who haven't booked recently and invite them back with a special "welcome back" offer. Sell studio memberships and package upgrades to prospective and current clients. Earn commission on every membership sold. Log outreach calls and outcomes so we can track what's working. Help clean and sanitize harnesses, cords, and equipment. Reset the studio for the next class, or close down the space for the day. Break down the front desk station and secure the studio before leaving. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Friendly, outgoing personality — comfortable talking to strangers and picking up the phone. Reliable and punctual; able to arrive a full hour before each shift. Comfortable with light physical tasks (fitting harnesses, moving equipment, being on your feet). Sales instinct or willingness to learn a simple, script-supported sales process. Prior front desk, retail, sales, or boutique fitness experience is a plus, not a requirement. COMPENSATION Hourly pay at applicable minimum wage.
