Schedule: Day or Night Shift; 3x12-Hour Shifts; Rotating Weekends

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week

Call: Rotating Call Required

Work Setting: Acute Care / Critical Care / Level II NICU

Experience: Minimum 5 Years Required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The RRT will provide respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for patients of all ages and acuity levels, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, critical care, and Level II NICU patients.

Candidates must have strong critical care and ventilator management experience , along with hands-on neonatal and pediatric respiratory therapy experience. Previous travel assignment experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy and diagnostic services to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and critically ill patients across varying levels of acuity.

• Manage mechanical ventilation and other respiratory support modalities for critical care patients.

• Assess patient respiratory status, perform prescribed treatments, and monitor response to respiratory interventions.

• Provide respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients, including patients receiving care within a Level II NICU.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and safe respiratory care practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 Years of Recent Respiratory Therapy Experience Required; Previous Travel Assignment Experience Required.

• Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential Required; CRT Candidates Will Not Be Considered.

• Current, Active Colorado Respiratory Therapist License Required.

• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS Certifications and Current NRP Certification Required.

• Critical Care, Ventilator, Neonatal, Pediatric, and Level II NICU Experience Required; Current Flu Vaccination with No Declinations and Compliance With the 75-Mile Travel Radius Requirement Required.
