2nd Shift Press Operator
A company in Avilla, IN is looking for a 2nd Shift Press Operator to support rubber molding operations. This role involves operating press machines, ensuring product quality, and working in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Pay: $20.85 per hour with increase opportunities through DH after 90 days
Shift: Monday through Friday 2PM to 10PM
Overtime available during the week and on weekends
Job Summary: A company in Avilla, IN is looking for a 2nd Shift Press Operator to support rubber molding operations. This role involves operating press machines, ensuring product quality, and working in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate rubber molding press machines to produce valve seal components
- Load raw materials into machines and remove finished products
- Inspect parts for quality and ensure they meet production standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines
- Meet daily production goals
Work Environment: Hot manufacturing environment
Repetitive work with a focus on quality and consistency
Standing for long periods
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 25 pounds as needed
- Push and pull up to 50 pounds
- Frequent use of hands for small parts
- Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
Qualifications:
- Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
PPE Requirements:
- Tennis shoes required
- Safety glasses required
