Skill Sets Niche Skill Experience Preference 1. Design, deploy, and manage highly available, distributed CockroachDB clusters supporting mission-critical, multi-region production workloads. 2. Own schema design, indexing strategy, and query performance tuning to ensure low-latency reads/writes at scale in a distributed SQL environment. 3. Monitor cluster health, replication, and consistency (Raft consensus, range distribution, hot spots) and proactively resolve performance and availability issues. 4. Partner with application and platform engineering teams to plan safe schema migrations, capacity scaling, and disaster recovery/backup strategies.
