• Pay Rate: $77.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Days, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM; hours may vary slightly due to department need

Job Summary

This is a travel/contract Radiation Therapist position in a busy inpatient and outpatient oncology setting. The department manages a variety of cancer cases and is equipped with two treatment machines, one CT Simulator, and a team of 14 therapists. First-time travelers are not accepted for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Treat a variety of cancer cases across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Operate and manage workflow across two treatment machines and one CT Simulator
• Collaborate within a team of 14 therapists to deliver radiation therapy services
• Handle emergency cases as required

Required Skills

• Experience with Impac MOSAIQ (required)
• Adult inpatient and outpatient experience (required)
• CBCT/kV/mV imaging (required)
• Emergency case experience (required)

Education Requirements

• BLS certification required
• ARRT (T) certification required
• Active California Radiation Therapist license required (must be active at time of submission; pending license not accepted)

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
• Prior travel/contract experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Day shift position; hours may vary slightly due to department need
• Floating: Not required
• On-call: Not required
• No scheduling requests can be accommodated and no time off (RTO) within the first 2 weeks
• Flu vaccine required; no exemptions
