Requirements

Minimumof4yearsofresidentialfinishcarpentryexperience
Strongknowledgeoffinishmaterials,triminstallation,cabinetry,andfinewoodwork
Highschooldiplomaorequivalentpreferred
Abilitytoreadandinterpretarchitecturaldrawings,elevations,andfinishschedules
Proficiencywithhandtoolsandpowertools(Skilsaw,mitersaw,jigsaw,routers,etc.)
Mustprovideabasicsetofhandtools(powertoolssuppliedbyS.R.Freeman,Inc.)
Abilitytoliftupto80poundsandperformrepetitivephysicaltasks
Abilitytoworksafelyonladdersandinactiveconstructionenvironments
ValidCaliforniaDriversLicenseandreliabletransportation
Professionalappearanceandconduct ; punctualanddependable
Willingnesstolearnandutilizecompanysoftwareandtechnologyasneeded

Responsibilities

Measure,cut,assemble,andinstallfinishmaterialstoexactspecifications
Readandfollowplans,elevations,andfinishschedulesaccurately
Installandadjusthardwareandfinishcomponentswithprecision
Maintainaclean,organized,andsafejobsite
LeadorassistsmallcrewsasdirectedbytheForeman
Communicateeffectivelywithsupervisors,teammembers,subcontractors,andgeneralcontractors
Ensureprojectsarecompletedonscheduleandmeetcompanyqualitystandards
Followallsafetyproceduresandproperlyusetoolsandequipment
Workovertimeasneededtomeetprojectdeadlines
