Office Assistant/ Customer Service

Administrative Office AssistantResponsible for performing a variety of administrative, office, customer service and clerical functions. The ideal candidate will have solid computer skills, a friendly disposition toward customers and fellow workers, with a positive can-do team-work oriented attitude.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provides administrative assistance as required or as requested -including word processing, transcription, information research, filing, taking and directing telephone calls and messages.Maintain data bases (e.g., customer, vendor) and assists with mailings, phone reception, filing, and performing a variety of administrative office tasks.Assist with customer walk-ins and inquiries, process payments, end of day settling, etc.Assist with Account Payable tasks asPerforms other administrative or office duties or projects as required and/or as assigned.Position Requirements:Education:High School diploma or equivalent required.Skills/ Experience:Experience in a Construction related business or Cabinet Shop environment is helpful: but, not required.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Experience with customer service, executing transactions is required.Familiarity with accounting and such corresponding applications.Computer knowledge- Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.Adherence to the Employee Handbook and all Dakota policies and procedures.Bilingual a plusHours: Monday-FridayBenefits:Paid vacation and holidaysMedicalDentalVisionSupplemental benefitsCompany paid life insuranceLong-term disabilityEligible for 401k first day of employmentDakota Premium Hardwoods, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
