Associate Marketing Manager

Tootsie Roll Industries (TRI) is seeking an experienced Associate Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting Marketing Managers across various brands within the Tootsie Roll division. Job Responsibilities: New Product Development Support Assist Marketing Managers with new product development. Shepard new products through the commercialization process including product costings and specs. Brief design agency to develop new item images. Work with agency to produce new product comps and route final artwork internally for approval. Key Account Support Adjust new every day and seasonal items to fit customer specific price points and merchandising needs. Work collaboratively with the sales and purchasing teams to develop customer specific seasonal corrugate designs based on unique style guides. Create and maintain key account calendar to keep track of seasonal sales appointments and planogram-reset dates. Ship sales samples and new product comps to Sales Managers and broker partners, as needed. Share out item images needed for sales presentations. Seasonal Program Management Oversee development of TRI Seasonal programs for Valentine's Day, Easter, Spring/Summer, Halloween and Christmas seasons. Collaborate with Marketing Managers on seasonal catalog development in Salsify. Create seasonal selling materials including item spec slides, program details, price lists and seasonal sales sample kits. Assist in the development of seasonal selling stories with the Category Manager for sales team to present to their buyers. Create and manage seasonal calendar for current year and future year. Business Analysis Create and analyze shipment reports and Circana (IRI) reports to share with Marketing Managers as they evaluate prior season performance and plan for future seasons. Validate seasonal data and update item coding, as needed. Compile data points from various sources and aggregate together for Marketing Manager or Director of Marketing. Perform competitive analysis utilizing broker supplied retail audits, in-store retail visits and customer data. Skills Required: Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong planning and project management skills with a high level of organization and attention to detail. Self-starter with a strong work ethic Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage timelines across multiple projects. Team Player: Candidate must have strong collaboration skills and be able to work on a team made up of Marketing Managers as well as various cross-functional teams. Professional: Candidate must represent Tootsie Roll Industries in a professional manner at all times. Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree required, degree in Marketing preferred Work Experience Requirements: Minimum 3+ years of relevant marketing or product management experience, project management experience Consumer Packaged Goods industry experience, particularly in Marketing preferred. Experience extracting and/or analyzing Nielsen or Circana (IRI) retail scanning data, required. Experience with Oracle, SAP or other integrated trade management systems would be ideal, but not necessary. #J-18808-Ljbffr
