Role Description The Seasonal Sales Associate role is a part-time, on-site position located at the J.Crew Factory store in Midland, TX. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting customers, providing styling and product recommendations, and ensuring a welcoming, service-focused store environment. The role involves processing transactions, handling returns and exchanges, and maintaining accurate cash handling procedures. Seasonal Sales Associates help with merchandising tasks such as stocking, folding, and arranging displays to reflect brand standards and promotions. Team members also assist with fitting room support, store cleanliness, and meeting individual and team sales goals during peak seasonal periods. Qualifications Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage shoppers in a friendly and professional manner. Sales and retail skills, including basic understanding of POS systems, cash handling, and meeting performance goals. Merchandising and store operations skills, such as organizing inventory, maintaining visual standards, and supporting promotional setups. Communication and teamwork skills, including clear verbal communication and the ability to collaborate effectively with store leadership and coworkers. Availability to work a flexible part-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak seasons. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move merchandise, and perform tasks that require regular physical activity. Previous retail or customer-facing experience is beneficial but not required; enthusiasm for fashion and styling is a plus.
