Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Warner Robins, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit setting during night shift hours
• Perform telemetry interpretation and continuous cardiac monitoring
• Perform IV insertions and PICC line management
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech electronic charting system
• Float to other departments or affiliated facilities as needed based on departmental rotation schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience, with strong Medical-Surgical and Orthopedic/Surgical background
• Demonstrated telemetry interpretation skills
• Proficiency in IV insertion and PICC line care
• Experience with Meditech charting
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required prior to start)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (non-local candidates only)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an Orthopedic or Surgical unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Comfort with floating to multiple departments or facilities within a health system
