ISCO Industries is an end-to-end piping solutions provider that specializes in HDPE, working with leading edge technology that makes us a market leader./ppStarting Pay Range: $21+/hour (Depending on experience)/ppThe shipping and receiving functions are essential part of the ISCO Industries distribution network. We are always looking for individuals that are problem solvers with passion for continuous improvement to join our team. The Shipping and Receiving associates are responsible for verifying and keeping accurate records on incoming, stocking, outgoing shipments, and preparing items for shipment by performing the following duties:/pulliSafely, accurately and efficiently loading and unloading of products/liliVerifies products received from suppliers against the packing lists/liliStores products to the appropriate category shelves/liliAccurately picking products based on the computer-generated pick tickets/liliDetermines the best method of packing products to ensure adequate product protection during transit/liliUses the Transportation Management System (TMS) to select the best shipping mode and freight carrier to ensure products are delivered to customers with the shortest lead time and the lowest transportation cost/liliUses the ERP system (Epicor-Prelude) to maintain inventory accuracy and data integrity/liliConducts daily cycle counts and investigating the root cause of problems/liliMakes recommendations to improve processes and work environment/liliOpportunities to participate and support large projects such as out of town warehouse expansions and physical inventory/liliPerforms other related duties as assigned/li/ulpQualifications/pulliHigh School diploma or GED/liliData entry experience/liliForklift experience or able to be trained and certified to operate forklift/liliOutlook email proficiency/liliPrior warehouse, shipping, and/or distribution experience preferred/li/ulpAbility to:/pulliClearly and effectively communicate using email and telephone shipping related information to customers, vendors, and co-workers/liliOrganize and prioritize work orders to meet shipping/liliAudit work to ensure accuracy and completeness of shipping orders; attention to detail/liliIdentify potential delays and/or address immediate shipping delays and provide an effective and timely resolution and/or contingency plan; problem solving/liliWork independently with limited supervision; self-starter/li/ulpPhysical Demands and Work Environment:/pulliConstantly: Exerting 10 pounds of force to move objects/liliFrequently: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force, occasionally up to 70 pounds/liliStooping, crouching, reaching, standing, and walking/liliTalking, hearing, and seeing with close visual acuity/li/ulpEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
