Facilities Technician - Plant Maintenance

Facilities Technician Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, Mission Hills, CA. This position is peri‑demic and will work 8‑hour variable shifts. Responsibilities Provide maintenance services throughout the Providence Holy Cross Service area. Perform repairs on electrical equipment, air conditioning controls, plumbing, drain snaking, carpentry, painting, plastering, and other assigned duties. Maintain all Providence buildings in the San Fernando Valley Service Area under the general supervision of the Facilities Manager. Required Qualifications 2‑year trade school degree or certificate in mechanical, air conditioning, electrical, welding, automotive, or similar, plus 3 years of experience with commercial or industrial building maintenance. 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial maintenance and repair (e.g., hospital, hotel, high‑rise buildings). California Fire and Life Safety Card from National Organization within 30 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications EPA 608 upon hire. Pay Range $27.92 – $42.73 per hour, with potential for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, and incentives.
