Packer - 2nd Shift

Packer PositionThe Packer is primarily responsible for packing customer orders using a pack station. This position will spend most of their day working individually pulling totes from a conveyor. The packer will need to understand how to pack each order and treat the product with care.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPacking individual customer orders while working in a stationary pack stationUse and restock shipping materials at pack stationsAbility to safely use dry ice as neededExceed department units per hour standardsAdhere to all safety, security and SQF requirementsAvailable to work overtime as needed (extra hours in a day and extra days in a week)Willingness and ability to work to standard in any department outside of Configurable GiftsAble to maintain reasonable and reliable attendancePerform other duties and work in other departments as assignedEducation And/Or ExperienceSome high school or equivalent preferredBasic reading and counting skillsAbility to learn and use RF scanners on daily basisBasic computer skillsPhysical DemandsLift, push, pull, bend, and twist with up to 30lbs packages continuously and 50lbs on occasionWalk and stand for entire 8–10-hour shift and stoop, kneel, crawl and climbAbility to use ladders and climb stairs repeatedly dailyUse hand pallet jacks with payloads of 2500 +lbs.
