Director – Facilities ManagementRequired Skills & Experience Knowledge of project management methodologies to lead project teams; write in a clear and understandable manner. Working knowledge and experience with The Joint Commission (TJC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI) Understands extremely complex verbal or written instructions. Must be well organized and systematic in work processes, possess excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities while managing aggressive deadlines. Ability to delegate assignments and share decision-making with team members as appropriate. Must have strong leadership skills and be able to lead project teams, exercising strong interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Ability to develop, implement and evaluate efficient and cost-effective methods for construction, repair and/or maintenance projects as applicable Ability to establish the strategic direction and business plans for a functional group Ability to manage complex projects and resources (people, costs, time) Ability to plan, organize and manage building operational services; develop, implement and evaluate a variety of building and operation systems and preventative maintenance programs Ability to research regulations, procedures or technical reference materials relating to building maintenance Ability to strategize, plan and implement change Ability to work effectively both as a team player and leader Knowledge of business practices to prepare bid specification, negotiate agreements and administer contracts Knowledge of materials methods and principles used in the maintenance of hospital, clinic and office building installations and systems Knowledge of principles and practices of organization, administration, fiscal and personnel management
