Systems Engineer IIIReflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer III to join our team! The Systems Engineer supports requirements engineering, integration planning, lifecycle management, and technical risk and issue mitigation across complex, mission-focused systems on the IaaS task. The role pairs strong Linux command-line expertise with deep Jira Service Desk administration, and carries responsibility for driving cross-stakeholder alignment, maintaining disciplined configuration and change control, and producing clear, comprehensive technical documentation that supports engineering, operations, and compliance needs.Qualifications:Active TS/SCI + FS PolygraphTwenty (20) years' experience as a Systems Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexityDemonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering effortsBachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or universityFive (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degreeSecurity+ certification preferredRequired Skills + Experience:Demonstrated proficiency navigating Linux systems using the Linux CLIExperience eliciting, analyzing, validating, and documenting technical and functional requirements to ensure solutions meet stakeholder needs and align with mission objectivesExperience developing detailed integration strategies, coordinating cross team dependencies, and overseeing system integration activities to ensure seamless interoperability across componentsExperience at identifying potential risks, evaluating impacts, creating mitigation plans, and tracking issues through resolution to maintain system stabilityProficient in maintaining disciplined configuration baselines, documenting changes, enforcing version control processes, and ensuring all modifications follow established governance proceduresStrong ability to collaborate with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating clear communication, alignment, and timely decision-making throughout the project lifecycleExperienced in defining system lifecycle strategies, including development, deployment, maintenance, enhancement, and decommissioning phases to support long term program sustainabilityProduces clear, comprehensive, and well-structured technical documentation, including diagrams, procedures, how-to guides, and reports that support engineering, operations, and compliance needsHands-on expertise designing, configuring, and maintaining Jira Service Desk projects, workflows, automation, permissions, and custom fields to optimize service delivery and operational efficiencyExcellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detailDesired Skills + Experience:Experience with Git Source Control System
