You will handle real estate loan signings including refinances, purchase closings, HELOCs, reverse mortgages, and seller packages for clients in Skowhegan and the surrounding communities. Each signing pays $75 - $200 depending on the package and location.

KEY DUTIES Conduct mobile and remote notarization of mortgage loan documents for clients in Skowhegan and surrounding areas. Verify the identity of signers and administer oaths or affirmations as required. Walk borrowers through their loan package and make sure every signature, date, and initial is completed. Accurately complete notarial certificates and keep a complete notary journal and log. Return signed loan packages to the lender, title, or escrow company by the required deadline. Ensure compliance with Maine and federal notary laws and regulations. Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive borrower documents. Provide exceptional customer service and professional communication with borrowers and clients.

KEY PROFILE Must be a U.S. citizen with a high school diploma or equivalent. Active Notary Public commission in your state of residence. Proficient with remote notarization platforms and technology.
