• Schedule: Full-Time, Days | 8:00 AM4:30 PM preferred | Weekend rotation
• Location: Watkins Glen / Montour Falls, New York (Finger Lakes)

Position Overview:

• Opportunity available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at a well-regarded nursing and rehab provider in Watkins Glen / Montour Falls, NY. The focus is on assessment and treatment of patients with communication, cognitive, swallowing, and language disorders in a collaborative setting. CFs are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments for speech, cognition, and swallowing
• Create personalized treatment plans with measurable goals
• Deliver therapy as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor progress and adjust treatments as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans
• Collaborate with medical and rehab staff
• Supervise rehab aides following state regulations
• Participate in ongoing education to stay current
• Support high-quality, patient-centered care

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Active NY State SLP license or eligibility
• CFs welcome
• CCC-SLP preferred for experienced individuals
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehab preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and time management

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to assist with patient lifting and movement
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
