Shift:

Nights 3-12's (7 PM - 7:30 AM), Every 3rd Weekend

Mock Schedule:

Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Friday

Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday

Job Description:

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic CT examinations and assisting physicians with invasive CT procedures. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing and documenting diagnostic CT examinations as ordered by an approved healthcare provider.
• Conducting appropriate handoffs and ensuring continuity of care communication to the next caregiver.
• Analyzing CT examinations for quality control purposes.
• Preparing completed examinations for interpretation by the radiologist.
• Operating all CT and related equipment and facility-based computer systems.
• Administering oral and intravenous contrast media under physician direction and protocol.
• Transporting, moving, and positioning patients in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Assisting physicians with special procedures involving CT.
• Participating in quality assurance and quality control activities related to CT.

Job Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA accredited program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in radiography and CT.
• Maintaining licensure requirements with the state of Ohio.
• Annual CPR certification and When Seconds Count certification are required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a diagnostic imaging setting is preferred.
• Able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including patients.
• Ability to perform sedentary work, which involves predominantly sitting, with occasional walking or standing.
