Barista - Bakery/Market

We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our Bakery/Market team at Farmshop. In this role, you will prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages, using Farmshop's recipes and standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked station, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and safety.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment.
• Handle cash and process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Assist with bakery and market product displays, keeping them stocked and tidy.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Follow all company policies, including health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience preferred, with a strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards under pressure.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A friendly and professional attitude, with strong communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
