Northeast Austin, TX
$23.00–$25.00 per hour
Full-Time | Swing Shift (Open Availability Required)

 

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dependable and engaging Training Coordinator, Workplace Safety to support and enhance their on-site workplace safety programs. This role is responsible for delivering safety training, reinforcing OSHA and company safety standards, and promoting a proactive safety culture across operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-driven, and confident leading training sessions in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging workplace safety training to new hires and current employees
  • Reinforce and enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance standards
  • Conduct routine safety audits, inspections, and hazard assessments
  • Identify risks and implement corrective actions to prevent incidents
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; complete detailed reports
  • Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Maintain accurate training logs, safety documentation, and compliance records
  • Partner with supervisors and leadership to promote a culture of safety and accountability
  • Support onboarding and continuous safety education initiatives

 

Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Previous experience in safety training, safety coordination, or warehouse operations preferred
  • Strong understanding of OSHA standards and workplace safety practices (a plus)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and observation abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Basic computer skills (reporting, tracking, documentation)

 

Requirements

  • Availability for swing shift , including evenings, weekends, and overtime
  • Ability to stand, walk, and monitor operations for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 25–50 lbs as needed
