As an Access Control Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor activity, and support a secure environment for employees and guests. You will provide outstanding customer service, use computer or tablet systems, communicate clearly, and remain a visible presence to help deter incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.78 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and driver logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to warehouse and distribution areas. Coordinate the check-in and check-out process for deliveries, trailers, and vendors in accordance with location procedures. Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of the warehouse, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Minimum Requirements: Access control/badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
