Job Description
INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST - INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY

SCHEDULE
Shift: Full-time, Days, 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
On Call: 7-8 call shifts per month, including 1 shift per week and 1 weekend (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) per month, within a 30-minute radius.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks

REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of an accredited program
- Interventional Radiology experience, preferably in a busy lab; Neuro and Trauma experience preferred
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire/transfer
- ARRT-R Radiography required
- Must be licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)
- Certification in one of the following within two (2) years of hire date:
- ARRT Cardiac Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CI)
- ARRT Interventional Radiography (ARRT-VI)
- ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CV)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform interventional radiology (IR) procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or licensed provider.
- Ensure compliance with established protocols for the diagnosis of disease and injury.
- Collaborate with the Radiologist and members of the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.
- Maintain and operate complex imaging equipment safely and effectively.
- Provide patient education and support throughout the IR procedure process.
