Join Our Dynamic Therapy Team! Job Description:
- Location: ED/Building; Ground Floor
- Unit Type: 378-bed hospital
- Service Lines: Orthopedic/Elective Joints, Neurology, Vascular, General Medical/Surgical What You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional therapy evaluation and treatment to patients
- Screen patients to determine their need for therapy services
- Deliver appropriate discharge recommendations to ensure patient success Who We're Looking For:
- Must-Haves:
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules
- Willingness to work weekends
- Fast learner, open to training
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Acute Care and ARU
- Familiarity with Meditech software Work Environment:
- Patient Ratios:
- 8 patients per day in Acute Care
- 4 patients in ARU/Rehab Unit
- Equipment:
- DMEs, exercise equipment
- EMR: Meditech Best Personality Fit:
- Positive attitude and ability to roll with the punches
- Open to change and quick adaptation Certification Requirements:
- Up-to-date Texas therapy license Dress Code:
- Olive green scrub tops
- Black scrub pants Policies & Guidelines:
- Adherence to HIPAA, TJC, and hospital safety guidelines
- Therapy care policies and protocols in line with APTA/AOTA standards Additional Information:
- Positions Available: 1/1
- Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Contract Duration: 91 weeks
- Weekends: Yes
