Audio/Visual Technician
Location: Remote (with occasional visit to Rockville, MD) Duration: Long Term
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Audio/Visual Technician to support AV operations for my healthcare client. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and a strong background in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting AV systems in a federal or enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain AV systems including Polycom endpoints, video conferencing bridges, and control systems.
- Provide live event support for meetings, webinars, and hybrid conferences.
- Troubleshoot AV issues in real-time and provide technical support to end-users.
- Coordinate with IT and facilities teams to ensure seamless AV integration.
- Maintain documentation for AV systems, configurations, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal AV and IT security standards.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in AV Technician.
- Familiarity with AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron).
- Experience supporting AV in government or large enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of video conferencing protocols (H.323, SIP).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
